About Me
Hi! My name is Katie Park and I am currently a Junior at Frisco High
A few things about me is I play the cello, guitar, and golf. I am a part of the varsity orchestra at Frisco High School and I love to read. I am currently very interested in Radiology and would like to use this year to learn more about the career!​
Mission Statement
My mission while in the Independent Study Mentorship program is to expand on my ambition of radiology. I will learn aspects of medicine I am curious about through my mentor and other professionals throughout the year and determine a career path that suits me for the future and beyond.
About ISM
What is ISM?
Independent Study and Mentorship (ISM) is a rigorous course offered at Frisco ISD high schools to give students the opportunity to research a topic of study, designed for juniors and seniors.
Students in ISM will research their topic of choice and throughout the year complete research to later find a mentor to aid in completing the Final Product. Students interested in taking ISM must complete the application and interview process to be considered for the course. Once selected, students conduct research and interviews.
